Can't figure out how to pull the red pencil out of the picture... Not possible maybe? Anyway the clouds are a little busy and detract from the mountains and I think I'm going to crop it tighter on the right... But this is probably a respectable 3rd pass right?

Very respectable indeed! To get the red out of it, you could just turn the whole image to grayscale or if you want the red to be white/the color of the paper you could try "replace color" (it's under image- adjustments in photoshop).
...or you could just dump a bucket of visine on it.
I could show you how to do it (get rid of the red, without Visine). It's looking cool by the way.
You can just isolate the red channel and copy it to a new layer. I like it! I would live there if I was a poverty-stricken martian.
