Originally there was more story to this image. The gorilla was holding a tiny guy by the shirt... but I needed to hurry and didn't have time to solve that completely (or this really). How about that ugly hand! Blobby, right?
Ha ha! I use them because I get tired of doing everything in the computer. I also like the idea of actually having originals as opposed to digital files.

The hand doesn't bother me because his overall shape is so great. Also, I think you used prismacolor markers out of spite.
